#31: Davenport, Crafts, Food

IMG_6928
Day two of winter, but being in Auckland, it’s not that cold most of the time. Unfortunately, skies are grey most of the time these days. Somehow I really like this photograph. Anyway, weather wasn’t all too warm and sunny but at least it wasn’t raining, a good day to go off to do some trinket shopping at Davenport.

Note the buttons on my coat. Couple of hours ago, I just had them taken off and fixed new vintage silver buttons on.

So we spent the whole afternoon browsing all these shops selling little bits of things. Got a couple of interesting but practical bits from one or two shops.

Bought a couple of things from the haberdashery for some arts and craft during the break. Vintage-looking buttons to replace the plastic buttons on my beige pea coat. Got them for 70 cents each.IMG_7086
