#46: Cambridge Satchel

IMG_8162
Finally the Cambridge satchel I ordered a month ago, arrived after lunch this morning. Definitely worth the buy, the leather used is thick and the seams are really neat for a handmade bag.IMG_8144
It arrived in a huge cardboard FedEx box, bubble wrapped with a handwritten tag that read “Best Wishes”.IMG_8157 copy

#46. Now, no one would ever guess how much I got that belt for on the first guess. And it’s a brand new belt, not something  grabbed from some random second hand thrift shop. I’ve seen a couple of thrift shops around, entered one or two but most things seemed really old and worn.IMG_8163
A very windy day indeed.

Made some mini garlic bread to accompany roast chicken, salad and mushroom soup for dinner with the two siblings. Forget about buying garlic bread off the shelf in a supermarket, the last time I did that, the garlic bread was tasteless.
